2PoE - 2 Door PoE Controller
The U2 Boards Power over Ethernet, 2PoE unit is an intelligent network controller that supports two reader ports.  The unit includes 10 supervised inputs, and 4 relay outputs.  The 2PoE includes a powerful microprocessor with various types of memory to preserve database integrity, enable efficient database transactions, and allow for storage of millions of user records. 

External locking power is not required with the 2PoE.  Power is provided via the RJ45 PoE circuit.  Relevant database parameters such as: date and time, user access list, clearance codes, holiday lists, event journals and others are downloaded from the system host and stored locally on the 2PoE.  After the initial database configuration and download, communication with the host is not mandatory except for updates and changes for and from the host database. 

Each of the 2 door ports includes 5 separate supervised inputs each with tri-color LEDs.  Each 2PoE is field addressable, with a specific address, when utilizing RS-485 connection.
